Tokoroa MTB Club Funduro
The second ever Tokoroa MTB Club Enduro.
A fun, family friendly day out.
After 10 years of fun, the pines in Jungle Junction are due for harvest. We're saying goodbye to Mountain Lion, KC's Climb, Black Pantha, Tiggers Tail, Sabre Tooth, Speedy Cheetah and Stream Trail.
The trails for the Funduro will be Speedy Cheetah, Tiggers Tail, Black Pantha and Danger Mouse into Three Blind Mice.
This four stage enduro is aimed at youth, families and those who are new to MTB events, with key focus on FUN, but with enough challenge and racing to keep the experienced ones happy.
Jungle Junction themed dress-up is HIGHLY encouraged!
Parking and registration will be via our main entrance on Mossop Road.
The Tokoroa MTB Club gazebo will be set up in the park, you can leave bags/food there at your own responsibility. Feel free to set up your own tent at the park entrance (by the Cougar Park gazebo sign).
Peak Safety is our event medic, roaming the trails throughout the event.
Registration opens 8:45am.
Briefing at 10:15am, directly followed by timed runs (10:30am).
Timing will be in place until 2:30pm, giving lots of time to relax, hang with mates, re-ride trails, and take the day easy. Or, with live timing, keep racing your mates until your legs can't take anymore!
You can ride each trail as many times as you like in any order you like. There are three separate climbing trails and one forest road available for your ride up.
Club BBQ fundraiser on site.
Prize giving will be 3:00pm (earlier if we can)
