EPIC 5K 2024

We highly recommend picking up your race bib in advance to avoid any last-minute rush. Bib pickup date, time and location will be announced closer to the event and will occur in the week leading up to the event. Please bring your photo ID for verification purposes. If you would like to collect a bib on behalf of another participant, be sure to bring either photo identification OR a copy of the confirmation email for that participant.

Bibs can also be collected on race day from as early as 2:30pm at Nelson Mandela Park, POS. Just look for the bib collection station and a member of our team will be happy to assist you.

Remember, the race bib contains a special strip for electronic timing. Do keep in mind that you should not bend, fold, or break the little sticker on the back of your bib to ensure its smooth functioning. Keep it safe. Ensure that it is away from any metal that might distort its signals.

• All participants will receive the EPIC 2 Medal along with a goodie bag.

• Periodic award distribution will begin at 4:15pm - 5:00pm.

• Hamper prizes and trophies will be awarded to male and female winners in the following categories:

• 1st , 2nd , 3rd - Open category

• 1st , 2nd , 3rd, 4th, 5th - Wesleyan (internal) category

• 1st Place Open Category prizes - (12 & under) (13-19) (20-29) (30-39) (40-49) (50-59) (60+)

Special prizes

• Most active warm up and warm down participant

• Oldest and youngest participant

• Largest participating team

• Other surprise categories

2024 EPIC 5K Medal and Apparel

Post-Race Celebration:

After crossing the finish line, join us for a quick Zumba warm down and a well-deserved celebration. There will be refreshments, music, and a periodic award ceremony to recognize the top finishers in different categories. Don't forget to display your race bib to collect your EPIC medal and after-race treats at the designated areas.
