Please note: As of 4/29/24, we have "sold out" of commemorative bibs and swag bags. If you register after this point, you will receive a timing bib and timing services, but may not receive a swag bag.
Please also note that tees must have been ordered by April 17th (when we turn the order in to the shirt company). Some extras will be available at packet pickup on Friday and Saturday, but will not be held. They are first come, first served for $25 each.
Event Information:
For 20 years, the annual runBlossom race has helped usher in the summer season in Cañon City. As the snow melts and the leaves begin to adorn trees, runners of all ages come together to celebrate the Cañon City Music and Blossom Festival. The runBlossom 5K event showcases the Arkansas Riverwalk Trail, running alongside the river and through some of the most scenic portions of the area.
Join the competitive wave for a fast-paced 5K course with traditional age group awards. This wave starts bright and early at 8:00 am. Or, for a more relaxed pace, join the '5K Jog/Walk + YETI' wave at 8:45 am. All waves start and end at Centennial park in downtown Cañon City, Colorado. All bibbed individuals must complete the race under their own power (unless registered in the Rider category). If pushed in a stroller, children may NOT have a bib and compete for age-level awards.
Virtual Option:
Join us virtually at your own pace on a day that works best for you! (Virtual participants will not be eligible for age-group awards, but will receive a bib and shirt in the mail.)
Youth Exercise Training Initiative:
Student runners who are part of the YETI program will join the YETI wave, which starts at 8:45 am. If you're a parent or friend of a YETI runner, or you'd like a more relaxed race start, register for the 5K Jog/Walk + YETI wave. Please note that aid stations and an official finish line will be available until 9:45 am.
Join a "school team":
Are you running with or in support of a YETI runner? Join their schools' "team" (select the button at registration) and you'll be added. The team / school with the most participants receives the coveted YETI traveling trophy!

50% off for 18 and under - discount applied at checkout. Note that, in an effort to keep this event affordable, the standard cost does NOT include a t-shirt. This option can be added at registration.

'VIRTUAL RUN' RULES:
Participants are encouraged to:
1. Run on any day between April 16th and May 4th.
2. Use a timing app (we like MapMyRun and Strava) to record your run / walk.

Virtual 5K Closed
Run, walk, or roll (wheelchair or chariot) the 5K course between April 16th and May 17th! Record your time through any timing app or device and upload the results to see your standing. MUST register by April 17th to order your commemorative shirt. If added to registration, your shirt will be sent to you after May 5th.

This course is on the fast, relatively-flat Arkansas Rivewalk trail in Cañon City, Colorado. Participants in this event will have the opportunity to jog or walk this non-competetive course. This option is wonderful for first-time runners or those who wish to run with YETI (student) participants.
