RACE INFORMATION
Formerly the DuxFit 5K, the Pine Woods 5K will take place along the same route starting and finishing in the same location and will provide financial support to Massachusetts Vest-A-Dog as they open this new animal hospital in the Town of Duxbury. PINE WOODS ANIMAL HOSPITAL will be a full service, independent, general veterinary practice that offers thoughtful and high-quality care for the dogs and cats of the South Shore.
CHARITY INFORMATION
Event proceeds will benefit Massachusetts Vest-A-Dog which is an all volunteer non-profit 501c3 organization that is dedicated to providing support for Massachusetts police dogs: helping provide bulletproof K-9 vests, essential equipment, funding for training and dogs for police/law enforcement programs throughout Massachusetts.
We are committed to building an inclusive running community that celebrates diversity. We believe that this fosters a culture where everyone feels valued and welcomed. Our goal is to ensure respect and acceptance for our runners of all backgrounds as well as the communities that we run in.
