Where is the event?
The event will take place at Lake Bde Maka Ska at Thomas Beach. 3700 Thomas Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55410
What time should I arrive?
Registration opens at the park at 8am. When you arrive, check in at registration to receive your race bib. The race starts at 9am!
Where can I park?
We will have Thomas Beach Parking lot reserved unfortunately spots are limited and there is parking all around the location & local neighborhoods. We do encourage carpooling or biking to the event!
How much is it to run/walk?
This year adults are $25 and children are $15.
What do I receive for participating?
We will be giving away medals and Jonny Pops at the finish line. All runners receive a bib at checkin!
If I can't attend is there a way I can still donate?
Yes! We are sorry to miss you but you can still donate to our event!
Is this event dog friendly?
Yes, if you have a well behaved dog that loves other people & dogs please bring them leashed!
I can no longer participate in the run. Can I get a refund or defer my registration to next year?
We are unable to offer refunds or deferrals for the run. If you can find a friend or family member who would like to do the run in your place, you can transfer your registration to them.
Teams
How do I create or join a team?
When you’re filling out the registration form on Race Roster, you’ll have an opportunity to create or join a team. There are three categories of teams this year: Friends & Family, Corporate, and Run Crew.
I’ve already registered for the Run but didn’t join a team. Can I still join one?
Yes! Log in to your Race Roster account and head to your Dashboard. Click on our event and you will see a section to join a team. The team captain will be notified when you join their team.
Can I switch teams?
Yes! Log in to your Race Roster account and head to your Dashboard. Click on our event and you will see a section to switch teams. The team captain will be notified when you join their team.
Is there a cap on how many people can be on a team?
Nope! There is no maximum number of people who can join a team.
Notice of Filming & Photography
When you enter The Bond Between (The BB) event, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, webcasts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by The BB and its affiliates and representatives. Images, photos, and/or videos may be used to promote similar The BB events in the future, highlight the event, and exhibit the capabilities of The BB. You release The BB, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or sound recordings. By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment of royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, webcasting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, webcasting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by The BB or the person or entity designated to do so by The BB. You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.
