Just Live Events is hosting it’s 2nd Annual Just Live Fun Run in Cornwall, Prince Edward Island! All proceeds raised will be MATCHED by the Sarcoma Cancer Foundation of Canada and allocated to the PRO CARE EHE Research Team at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. Last year, with the generous sponsors and donations, the Just Live Merch purchased, we raised $37,152 which was MATCHED for a grand total of $74, 304!
Join us August 25th, 2024, which happens to be just days after the 3 year Cancer-versary date of Michelle, My Journey to Just Live's, diagnosis with Stage 4 Incurable Cancer. Michelle was diagnosed in 2021 with an ultra rare Sarcoma cancer called Epithelioid Hemangioendothelioma, EHE for short. Michelle has innumerable tumours throughout her body and takes a daily cancer treatment in hopes of stabilizing the cancer for as long as possible.
She started running in January 2022, 5 months postpartum, and 4 months post diagnosis; she never had run before. Her goal was to set herself up for success, and was hopeful for the best possible outcome to tackle this bleak cancer diagnosis. Michelle is often seen running, pulling and/or pushing all 3 of her children; Juliet (7), Adeline (5) and Hatton (2), just for fun. She has now run in 2 half marathon events, including one in London, England raising funds for EHE UK Charity. Michelle, with the support of her husband Ty, has begun tackling her next endeavour, a Triathlon!
This Just Live Fun Run event will have family and running at the heart, and with hope to raise funds along the way! It's a perfect opportunity to run alongside others and choose YOUR hard.
This event will be an Atlantic Chip Timing Event for the 5km Walk, 5km Run and 10km Run. This year’s route will start at the Cornwall Civic Center and we can’t wait to share the exact route with you very soon!
This year we will have an in-person 1k walk/run; 5k walk, 5k run and 10k run.
Participant Event Shirts ARE included in the 5 &10km events (1km and Virtual can purchase)
Our Virtual event will receive a Race Bib & Medal! (International Shipping available)

When you spot that finish line, you'll know it's the real deal!▪️ The route caters to all runner abilities, from seasoned veterans to newcomers seeking a distance challenge. Participants must be 10 years of age or older on race day to be eligible. All 10km race participants must be registered, except for children in strollers for the entire duration of the race. Family Fun Zone
The Family Fun zone is back and will kick off the day at 8:30 AM, starting with the 1km Walk/Run. There will be door prizes drawn following the running events and fun for the whole family on-site at the Cornwall Civic Center until 12:00 PM.
The Family Fun Run event will have Face Painting, and Balloon Animals and the fun continues with Bouncy Castles and Inflatable Yard Games, All sponsored by CHANCES Inc. Lots of fun for all ages!
Strollers are welcome at all events. Michelle will be there pushing alongside you; so let’s do it! Please note, there will not be any dogs permitted (aside from service dogs ) at the Fun Run or Family Fun Zone.
All Proceeds raised from this Fun Run event will be MATCHED by the Sarcoma Cancer Foundation of Canada and the funds will be allocated to the PRO CARE EHE Research Team at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
