Help us shine a light on the importance of critical funding for Metastatic Breast Cancer research, also known as Stage 4, where the cancer has spread beyond the breast to other parts of the body. As of right now there is NO CURE.
Please join us on Saturday, September 7, 2024 for our 3rd annual Tampa Bay 5K Race & Fun Run to raise awareness and funding for research. No experience needed. You will enjoy some coffee and donuts, giveaways and children's activities. It will be an unforgettable event for the whole family to enjoy!

There are several ways to get involved in the Tampa Bay 5K Race & Fun Run:
1. Register to participate in the race in-person or virtually. You have the option to participate individually, create a team, or join an existing team.

3. Unable to participate? Make a donation to support MBC research.
4. Become a Sponsor for the race and fun run.

MBC Facts
- Approximately 30% of early stage breast cancer survivors will have a recurrence as metastatic disease
- Metastases can occur as early as several months to 25+ years after treatment
- 685,000 people a year die from metastatic breast cancer globally
- Only 22% of U.S. MBC patients live longer than 5 years, and only 11% of live longer than 10 years
- There is NO CURE for MBC
