We are excited to invite you to the reinstatement of our annual 5K race! The annual 5K race began as a way to bring together Manara families and community members to celebrate our journey of working together, celebrating together and accomplishing together. Unfortunately, during the years of the pandemic and pandemic recovery, this event was put on hold.
The Manara Academy Board represents the stewardship of our cherished 5K run tradition. Their unwavering commitment to excellence inspires us all, portraying the 5K preparation and run as a model for success across all life domains, as it encourages runners to maintain consistency, discipline, and resolute determination. We also draw inspiration from Dr. Ehap Sabri, our board president, and his personal marathon journey, ignited by a Manara teacher's initiative called "Health and Fitness for Everyone." It serves as a testament to the ethos of "Going the Extra Mile."
We extend a heartfelt invitation to join us on this transformative journey, celebrating the shared values that define Manara. Our consistent strategic planning has led to remarkable advancements in our school outcomes. As part of our unwavering commitment to community service, all proceeds from this event will be directed to charitable causes. A portion will aid the Texas Autism Society for Autism Awareness Month, while the majority will support humanitarian efforts in Gaza, facilitated through a transparent organization ensuring direct assistance reaches those in need. This event embodies our ethos of global citizenship, uniting our Manara community in solidarity with those requiring our support.
