Are you gearing up for the big race day on May 4 and 5? Whether you're tackling the marathon, half marathon, or the brisk 5K, we've got the perfect prelude for you! Dive into the heart of Pittsburgh at Market Square on April 13 for a sneak peek at the course. This is your golden ticket to get a lay of the land, set your sights on the finish line, and fill your race day with confidence!

What’s on the Agenda?

• Check-in: Check-in begins at 6:30 AM. It's the perfect start to a productive day!
• Warmup: Get your muscles ready with a dynamic warmup at 7:45 AM.
• The Start: At 8 AM, we release the waves! Choose your pace and let the excitement carry you.

Your Distance, Your Pace

• Preview the UPMC Health Plan | UPMC Sports Medicine Pittsburgh 5K course
• Preview ~11 miles of the UPMC Health Plan Pittsburgh Half Marathon course (including a walking division pace!)
• Preview ~20 miles of the DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon course

All routes lead you back to where the fun began: Market Square.

We anticipate having pacers for the following distances/paces:

~20 mile route: 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30, 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 13:00, Run/Walk 60/30 ratio

~11 mile route: 8:00, 8:30, 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 12:30, 13:00, Walking

5K route: There are no designated pacers for the 5K. People participating in this distance will be able to join any of the pace groups for the first 2 miles and will be on their own for the last mile back to Market Square.

• Hydration is Key: Find on-course water stations, but feel free to bring your favorite hydration pack.
• Celebrate Your Achievement: Post-run, refuel with water, Nuun Hydration, and Honey Stinger Gels.
• More than Just a Run: Pace group leaders from City of Bridges Run Club, Rogue Runners and Walkers, and Fleet Feet Run Club will guide you through the streets of Pittsburgh at various paces.
