Penang Hill Heritage Forest Challenge 2024

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1. The participant needs to be 15 years old and above on the race day.

2. Age calculation is based on the date of the event.

3. Registration fees are exclusive of online processing fee.

4. Once the registration is completed and payment has been made, the entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-TRANSFERABLE and NON-DEFERRABLE.

5. Participants of this race are doing this at their own risk and will not hold the organizer responsible for any personal injury, death and all other losses or damages that may be sustained before, during and after the race event.

6. For any change in size of the event tee, change of category, or bib transfer, please contact seowkong.ng@endurancenature.com.my. No tee size change is allowed after 15th July 2024.

7. Prize money will be given only to podium winners (Top 8) of each of the four 14km categories along with trophies for the top 3 winners.

8. Trophies and sponsored prizes will be given to podium winners (Top 3) of each of the four 8km categories.


RUNNER’s AGREEMENT:

  1. In submitting my online registration form, I hereby READ and AGREE to ABIDE by the rules and regulations of the race event, including information written on the race event website and race event programme pertaining to the Penang Hill Heritage Forest Challenge 2024.
  2. I DECLARE, UNDERSTAND and ACCEPT that I am participating in this race at my own risk and hereby AGREE TO WAIVE all my rights to any claim of personal injury, death and all other losses or damages that may be sustained before, during and after the race event against the race organizer, sponsors and supporters.
  3. I DECLARE that I am medically and physically fit to participate in this race.
  4. I DECLARE that I have trained sufficiently for this race.
  5. I DO NOT HAVE any cardiac disorders or illnesses and have READ the “Health Checklist” to make sure that I am physically able to participate in this race. If I am NOT FEELING WELL, I will decide NOT TO TAKE PART in the race. If during the race, I become injured or sick or unwell, I AGREE to receive emergency first aid treatment.
  6. I understand SUBSTITUTE RUNNERS ARE NOT ALLOWED and I will not allow any runner to replace me during the race.
  7. I agree that I will withdraw from the race if I miss the official cut-off times at any one of the checkpoints along the route and also at the finishing point. In such an event, I will surrender my bib to the race officials, sign a Race Withdrawal Form, and discontinue running in the race. Should I wish to continue running, I agree that this is against the rules and regulations of the race, and I will be running on my own accord which is not part of the race. I understand that I will not be entitled to any finisher T-shirt, medal, or finisher-related items.
  8. I HAVE NOT provided any false information regarding my race participation qualifications.
  9. I consent to the race organizer using my name, image and likeness in the race event, at any time, to promote the race event for publicity.
  10. I agree and understand that I may be included in the video footage, photographs, articles and race information. I also understand that such photos/footage are owned by the race organizer and may be used in magazines, television, newspapers, internet, posters and pamphlets.
