REALTOR® Run 2024

Join us for the 2024 REALTOR® Run

REALTOR® Run hosted by the Waterloo Region Association of REALTORS®, aims to feature the best of Waterloo Region and surrounding areas all while raising funds and awareness for this year's chosen charity oneROOF Youth Services. This event takes place during the week of May 2nd - May 8th and we are inviting you to walk or run 5 kilometers in your favorite area.

Real Estate is all about location and we would like to feature Waterloo Region and the surrounding area to help promote what makes our community such a great place to live. We highly encourage you to use social media in advance of the Run to promote your Race Roster webpage and encourage pledges. Tell your audience why you are participating, what you love of about the neighborhood you have chosen for your route, and use the hashtag #WRRealtorRun.

On your chosen race day, be sure to take a photo or two along your route to share with us. Anyone who is unable to participate in the 5K route are welcome to support their peers through donations. Anyone taking part in this event can create their own runner's page to share and raise money to meet the goal.

Racers will be asked to share routes, completion times, and a photo. We recommend racers use the Running Series application downloaded on their phones to track the route. Instructions will be provided.

Whether you are a serious runner, or simply want to spend more time outdoors, we hope you can join us! The 5K course can be run competitively, or you can walk/wheel a little bit each day. No matter which element you take part in, everyone will receive a chance to win one of our prizes.

Kickoff the REALTOR® Run with us at our REALTORS Care® Day event!:

The Waterloo Region Association of REALTORS® is celebrating REALTORS Care® Day on May 2nd! This event is open to all WRAR Members and REALTOR Run Participants!

Mark your calendar and join us in giving back to oneROOF Youth Services. This event includes a presentation from oneROOF Youth Services, fundraising initiatives, packing treat bags for local youth, the adrenaline-pumping start to our week-long REALTOR® Run and refreshments.

Register as a solo racer:

Register as a solo racer and create your very own account. Each participant will receive a branded t-shirt to wear during their run. Using your participant account, you can share your fundraising goal and collect pledges. Track your route by downloading the Runkeeper app directly to your phone; with its integrated GPS system, the application can track your route and your running time you can add directly to your race account.

Build a team/join a team:

Join an existing team or create your own team and work together to raise funds. Perhaps, you and your team want to schedule a running time with each other. All registered participants will receive a branded t-shirt. REALTOR® Run registration page will include a team leader board. May the competition begin!

Make a donation:

Support the racers with a donation in support of oneROOF Youth Services.

Share the event:

Invite your peers to take part in the community awareness campaign using #WRRealtorRun.
