Help Cindy raise money

For participating in Barkapalooza

My Story…

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for West Suburban Humane Society's (WSHS) biggest fundraiser of the year, Barkapalooza!, which will take place this year on Sunday, September 29th.  WSHS is a no-kill shelter for dogs and cats that does not receive any government funding; it is financially supported by kind, compassionate donors like you and me so that staff and volunteers can care for the hundreds of homeless animals we take in every year who depend on us for survival. WSHS has capacity for 60 cats and 25 dogs at a time in addition to more than 100 foster homes. WSHS prides itself in going "Above and Beyond" for the homeless animals in its care; every animal that is brought in receives any time of veterinary or other care needed, and are microchipped and spayed or neutered before going home. Your donation will be used for food, shelter, and veterinary care for all of the animals in WSHS' care--whether they are cared for at the shelter or in foster homes.

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. If you'd rather, you can mail me a check, made out to "West Suburban Humane Society" and send it to me at 2230 Westfield Drive, Downers Grove, IL 60516.

No donation is too small or too large---it all counts!

Please forward this to anyone you think might want to donate too, and if your company matches donations, please ask me about how we can make that happen.

Many thanks for your support,

Meow & Woof!

Cindy

Description

The West Suburban Humane Society (WSHS) is a private, volunteer-based, animal welfare organization that was founded in 1972 and is 100% funded by individuals, our business partners and private grants. Since our inception we have found forever homes for more than 31,000 animals, and strive to be a community resource for all pet owners.
We want to save as many lives as we can but we need your help!  Our adoption fee does not cover the testing, de-worming, vaccinations, spay/neutering and microchipping WSHS provides these pets, not to mention food, litter, pee pads and other supplies our animals need!
  • Just $25 will microchip 5 animals
  • $50 will feed all the animals in our shelter one meal
  • $100 will cover the cost to spay or neuter one animal
  • $250 will contribute to the medical care for one of our animals needing extra care
  • $500 will cover the cost of one animal in our shelter
