REFUND FAQ
NOTE: Because of the date and location flexibility of the virtual events, there are no refunds for cancellations of virtual events.
What happens if the in-person event is canceled by Senior Coastsiders?
If Senior Coastsiders (herein called "the race organizer") must cancel the in-person events due to extreme weather, natural disaster, pandemic, strike, work stoppage, acts of terrorism, acts of God (including but not limited to hurricane, fire, tornado, lightning, poor air-quality, or earthquake), upon which they will deem appropriate with guidance from governing officials from the City of Half Moon Bay, the County of San Mateo, and/or the State of California or upon their discretion where participants, volunteers, contractors, and race staff safety would be threatened, all in-person registrants will be transferred to the corresponding virtual event.
What if I have to cancel my event for any reason?
There are no refunds for cancellations or no show for any reason.
Can I transfer from the virtual to the in-person event?
Yes, you will need to pay the difference between the virtual event and in-person event registration fees, plus a processing fee of $6.00
Can I transfer from the in-person to the virtual event?
Yes, you will receive a refund for the difference in registration fees, minus a processing fee of $6.00. You also have the option of donating the difference to Senior Coastsiders in support of our local older adults!
Can I transfer from one distance to another?
Yes, you will need to pay the difference between the event registration fees, plus a processing fee of $6.00
If you are transferring to a shorter distance, you will receive a refund for the difference in registration fees, minus a processing fee of $6.00. You also have the option of donating the difference to Senior Coastsiders in support of our local older adults!
Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Yes, a processing fee of $6.00 will be charged
