First 185 to register are guaranteed the great looking Eliot Festival 5K Road Race T-Shirt!
The Eliot Festival 5K Road Race starts promptly at 8:30 am EDT Saturday, September 28, 2024 from Eliot Police Station, kicking off the 43rd Eliot Festival Days celebration in the center of Eliot, Maine. Proceeds from the Race support the Mainspring Collective, which is building a stronger community by providing all citizens the resources to thrive, and Town of Eliot Fuel Assistance Fund which provides emergency help for urgent situations facing our neighbors.
Eliot Festival 5K is fast and competitive. The course is well-marked, with police escort along the Town’s scenic and rural by-ways. It’s a great way to kick off the Fall running season!
NEW STARTING LINE: Eliot Town Hall is being renovated and we lost access to the USATF certified start/finish line in the parking lot. The new starting line is on State Road, next to the Eliot Police Station. Moving the start/finish line will add about 60 meters to the 5,000 meter race. Time will be recorded from the new starting line.
Walkers and strollers are welcome. No dogs or bikes, please. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in men and women categories. Medals awarded for winners in all age groups.
After the race, stay for awards and great refreshments. And the Eliot Festival Days events await you - parade, Kid's Fun Run, booths, crafts, music, and more food!
