Marys Mayhem 2024
This is a brand new gravel overnighter for 2024 in the beautiful Mudgee/Rylstone region and is the 3rd event in our Bushranger series. We reckon this has the potential to be our biggest event yet with loads of champagne gravel in close proximity to the wider Sydney and Newcastle regions. The locals are absolutely frothing over this one and cannot wait to showcase their local trails to the Graveleur Community!
Added to that we will be curating some of the finest local craft brewers to put on a beer festival at the finish of both days. This will be more of the same chilled social gravel cycling, blue ribbon support, and meticulous organisation that you have come to expect from Graveleur.
Saturday will feature 3 loops of approximately 30/60/100km, starting and finishing at the Small Batch Brewery and Hop Farm just outside Mudgee NSW.
Sunday will also consist of 3 loops of approximately 30/60/100km, starting and finishing at The Globe Hotel in the centre of Rylstone NSW.
The area is relatively flat being over the great dividing range so the distances will not be as taxing as some of our other event locations.

This is Marys Mayhem
Mary Ann Bugg is the inspiration for Marys Mayhem. She was a proud Worimi woman and arguably Australia's first female bushranger in the 1800s. Married to Captain Thunderbolt, legend has it that she single-handedly busted him out of prison on Cockatoo Island by swimming across shark infested waters of Sydney Harbour with a file held between her teeth. She was jailed for unconventional acts like wearing men's clothing and operated out of Mudgee. What a legend!

Like all Graveleur events, we welcome anyone and everyone over 12 years of age who wants join in the fun. Your entry fee of $140 (*) is great value and gets you:

Family Discount: Choose the "Short Course Family entry" option for two or more riders living at the same address.
Group Discount: 10% for a group of 10 or more riders registered in one transaction. Choose someone for your group to enter the details of each rider from your group, then create a login, confirm your details and accept the waiver. Simple! OR just get in touch and we'll give you a promo code to share with your crew.
Accommodation: Don't forget to book your accommodation somewhere around Mudgee of Rylstone. You will need to make your own way to the event centre each morning of the event.
