2024 New Zealand Wingfoil Championships

It has been almost 12 months since Manly Sailing Club hosted the inaugural New Zealand Wingfoil Championships. It was great to have over 70 wingfoilers racing around the course in the beautiful water off the Whangaparaoa Peninsula.
We are looking forward to seeing you all again this May for the 2nd New Zealand Championships, sponsored by the team at PredictWind. Our aim for the weekend is to bring the wingfoil community together and to enjoy some fast and fun racing.
There will be 2 main divisions ‘Open’ and ‘Race/Masters’.
The ‘Open’ division is for the top wingfoil racers who will battle it out for the overall NZ title. They will complete 3 laps of a course. This is open to experienced wingfoilers of all ages but prizes will only be awarded to - Male 1st, 2nd, 3rd & Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd & Under 18 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
This fleet will be limited to 45 entries.
The ‘Race/Masters’ division is for our experienced wingfoilers who want to enjoy some epic racing and will complete 2 laps of a course. This is a very competitive fleet for all ages. There will be prizes awarded to Overall Male 1st, 2nd, 3rd & Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd. In addition this is where we will be awarding our Masters age group prizes for those in their 40s, 50s & 60+.
This fleet will be limited to 45 entries.
We hope to have most foil brands coming to showcase their equipment over the weekend at the regatta.
