What is the Registration Cap for both events?
Currently there will be a registration cap of 700 for the 5K and 50 for the 1K events.
What are the processing fees that I'm charged with my registration?
Race Roster collects a fee on all transactions (processing fees) as this is an industry standard. Their team assists our races from beginning to end, and this fee allows them to provide meaningful customer support to all participants, covers merchant costs of processing the transaction, the technology costs of developing an online registration platform, includes event cancellation protection for participants in the case of an emergency, and ensures that the online race experience is seamless for all.
What are the age requirements? How old must I be on Race Day?
There are no age requirements for the event. For anyone under 12, we encourage them to be accompanied by an adult. Visit our page on 1K Kids Run Info for more details.
If I live outside of Canada, can I register for the event?
Yes. International visitors who will be in Toronto on race day are welcome to register and participate!
If I am experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 on race day, will I be issued a refund for not attending the event?
Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. That means that once the money is received and accepted, participants will not receive a refund and will not be able to defer their entry to another year.

If the race is cancelled for any reason, will we be refunded our entry fee?
In the case of an in-person race cancellation, participants will have the opportunity to participate virtually and receive their technical running hat and commemorative finisher medal.
Can I cancel my registration?
Race entries are non-refundable and non-deferrable, as noted in the waiver you accepted during registration. However, you can transfer your registration to another participant.

Can I transfer my registration to another participant?
Yes, participants can transfer their registration until June 30th at 11:59pm EST.
To transfer your registration to another person, visit the event page and click the 'Transfer' button on the left-hand menu. There is a $10 administrative fee to transfer to another participant.
Can I transfer into another sub-event?
No, registration cannot be transferred between event distances.
What is the design of the exclusive Rev and Run 5000 hat and commemorative medal?
The design will be shared via our social media. Follow along at https://www.instagram.com/revandrun5000/ for updates!
Will I receive a charitable tax receipt?
Donations of $5 or more made to the Parkdale Community Food Bank are eligible for a charitable tax receipt. These will be issued automatically once transactions are complete.
Does the event support a charity?
Yes, all proceeds raised during the course of this event will be donated to the Parkdale Community Food Bank. Top fundraising participants will also be eligible for additional prizes!
RACE DAY
What time should I show up on race day?
The Ontario Honda Dealers Toronto Indy Fan Friday will be active starting at 9am on Friday July 19th. We encourage runners to attend early in order to enjoy the festivities. The last car race of the day begins at 5pm.
We recommend arriving 45 minutes before your race start time.
1K Kids Run - starts at 7:00pm
5K Run - starts at 7:30pm
When is Race Kit Pickup?
Before the race, we offer the following race kit pickup options :

Race Day
Location: Exhibition Place
Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto site, beside Victory Circle (western side of the Enercare Centre)- Friday, July 19th; 3pm - 6:45pm
Will there be baggage check available on race day?
Yes, Baggage Check will be offered beside the bib pickup area (near Victory Circle) from 5:30pm until 9pm
Will there be a water station on course?
Yes! The 5K course is 2 loops of the same track, and will pass by the water station twice.
Is there water at the finish line?
Water will be available at the post-race hydration station near the finish line.
Is there food at the finish line?
Yes, participants will have access to snacks and refreshments in the post-race area.
Are there washrooms at the start line?
Yes, there are washrooms available in the Enercare Centre and port-o-potties throughout the event site.
Are you allowing spectators at the event?
Yes, definitely! The Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto race track has free entry all day for anyone wishing to watch car racing before 6pm or to watch our running event at 7pm. Bleachers and all other spectator amenities will be open and available during the automotive race, but not available during the 5K and 1K races. During the 5K & 1K races, space is provided on the track where spectators can cheer on runners.
Is there a course time limit for the races?
Yes, the time limit for the 5K & 1K events is 75 minutes.
Will the events be timed?
The 5K event will be timed by Enfield Timing. The 1K event will not be timed.
Will strollers be allowed on course?
Strollers will be permitted for the 1K distance and for the 5K distance. There will me limited spots available. Please indicate during registration if you wish to participate with a stroller.
What adaptive devices are allowed on course?
- Push rim wheelchair, Recreational wheelchair, Motorized wheelchair (5K only), Duo Captain+Duo Pusher and participants with Guides are allowed on course.
Can I participate with a support person?
Yes! The participant will register using the online registration system.
Your guide has 2 options:
1. The guide can participate in the event at no cost. They will need to complete the event waiver and wear two “GUIDE” bibs, one on their front, and one on their back.
2. The guide can pay the full registration fee. They will receive the technical running hat, bib with timing chip & finisher’s medal. They will need to wear the event “GUIDE” bib on their back.
When the participant picks up their race kit, they will receive the additional “GUIDE” bib(s).
