My Story…
Hi all,
My name is Danielle and at 20 years old I suffered from SCAD. On a family vacation in Denver, I went into cardiac arrest on the mountain, where my hero’s, the Beaver Creek Ski Patrol team, saved my life. Quickly they brought me down the mountain while doing CPR. Once in the ambulance, I went into v-fib and had to get shocked “back to life”. Once stable I was airlifted to the Aurora Hospital in Colorado, stented, and on my way to recovery.
My family and friends were my strongest support, and 10 years later I am happy and healthy. Help me support others as we search for more information about the “why” behind SCAD!
