My Story…
Thanks for visiting my fund raising page!
As you may know, I have served on the JCYC board for over eleven years and participant in the annual SF Aloha Run, well, it’s that time of the year again!
Over the past five decades, JCYC has distinguished itself as one of the most successful child and youth development organizations in San Francisco and in 2023 was selected as a California Nonprofit of the Year. Today, JCYC annually serves over 7,000 children and youth from all socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds. Our services include childcare, college preparation, leadership development, youth employment, substance abuse prevention, and summer day camp.
The SF Aloha Run is the organization’s largest fund-raising event and proceeds will support three incredible organizations:
- JCYC Scholarships: Empowering youth through education.
- Partnerships for Trauma Recovery: Providing critical, culturally, and contextually appropriate services and resources for survivors of trauma.
- United Playaz: Promoting violence prevention and youth leadership.
I hope you will give generously and thank you for your support!
