My Story…
Hello!
Welcome to my page, as a first generation immigrant that came from El Salvador at the age of 8, not knowing the language and feeling a bit out of place throughout the years I have been able to find my place in San Francisco. Being part of the JCYC team has been a rewarding place to work at.
Here at JCYC we focus on helping youth around the city with getting their first internship, how to apply to colleges, with their early educations, job-readiness, and many more skills that will be useful throughout their years. No matter where they came from and their background. Having these type of job readiness programs in San Francisco gives youth a lot of opportunities for them and some might have the same background as myself. Being part of the JCYC programs like MYEEP and SF YouthWorks, can help open a lot of bright doors and futures for them.
All of the money raised will go towards our scholarships that are available to our youth in our programs.
I would greatly appreciate any amount that you are able to provide for our fundraiser! Thank you for your support!
