Run for Your Life 5K

Color Fun Run

Bring your family and friends (including the furry ones) to a fun run/walk for a cause at our 6th Annual Run For Your Life 5K Color Run! You can help us spread awareness about substance misuse in Alachua County and fundraise for our mission to provide substance use prevention services to youth and adults in our community.

The event will open with breakfast for participants, a warm-up session, and a Narcan demonstration. There will also be a community fair with plenty of resources from local organizations. During the fun run, there will be six powder stations, so be ready! At the end of the 5K, we will announce the raffle ticket winners and hand out medals. To conclude, we'll have an Instagram-worthy group photo!

This year, the event has some awesome raffle prizes! This includes a gift basket from Texas Roadhouse, "Pizza for a Year" from Gator Domino's and more!

Do you have any old or unused medications sitting at home? Bring them with you to the 5K Color Run! HPW will collect and dispose of medications safely through Rx Destroyer at the event for free. All medications except for sharps (needles) and inhalers are gladly accepted!

All proceeds from this event will help support the Alachua County Health Promotion and Wellness (HPW) Coalition, a non-profit organization that strives to prevent youth substance use and provide various health education services to Alachua County residents. **Adult Supervision: Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a registered adult or parent.

**Refunds: We have a small, but awesome team working to host this event safely for you and everyone in our community. We are currently not able to issue refunds for this event.
