Kids Fun Run

Kids Fun Run – 8:45 AM Start Time
The Kids Fun Run is a great opportunity for children to join in the fun. The kids will run down the block and back approximately 1/2 mile starting at the official Start/Finish line. Parents are welcome to run with their son or daughter. Participants receive a medal & other fun prizes.
Half Marathon – 9:00 AM Start Time
This race is chip timed and USATF certified. Our Half Marathon takes you through beautiful downtown Belle Plaine before heading north across the Minnesota River. Our volunteers will be there to cheer you on! The course takes you along Minnesota’s Scenic Byway with rolling hills, eagle sightings and stunning countryside views. Half marathoners will then run back through the historic Avenue of the Trees towards Blakeley, then a gradual climb takes you back to the finish line.
The course will have volunteers and members of the Belle Plaine Police & Fire Departments, as well as some directional arrows to help guide runners through the race route. Be sure to pay attention to all course signs. Participants receive a medal & a shirt.
Half Marathon 2-Person Relay – 9:00 AM Start Time
Runners are responsible for their own transportation to and from the halfway exchange point. The exchange will take place near Mile Marker 8 and Water Stop 4. Participants receive a medal & a shirt.
5K Run – 9:20 AM Start Time
This race is chip timed and USATF certified. Our 5K leads you on a fun route through Belle Plaine. It is lined with our very best volunteers who will cheer you on with all they have! Participants receive a medal & a shirt.
Registration & Packet Pick-up
Registration is available online and in person.
Packet Pick-up: Friday, October 11, 2024 - Natural Fitness - located at 321 S Walnut Street, Belle Plaine, MN 56011 (Right behind/next to DQ) from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM.
**Same day packet pick-up and check-in will begin on race day at 7:00 AM
Awards
Both the Half Marathon and 5K will be awarded. Overall, Male & Female and Top Male & Female in their age group.
Refunds or Exchanges
We do not offer refunds for this event. Exchanges are not allowed between you and another person, i.e. switching from the Half to 5K. There will be no refunds if the race is cancelled due to weather.
