RWC Virtual 5K

Join us for the FOURTH annual Realtors Who Care (RWC) Virtual 5K with all proceeds going to support our real estate community. RWC is a non-profit which supports Realtors first, people focused local charities and individuals in need, and NAR recommended disaster relief. Recruit your colleagues to support this great cause and run, walk, skip or hop a 3.1 mile course of your choice. Use the app link provided when you register, to track your race miles and time. Please make sure your race results are submitted by August 17th at 11:59pm. Sign up by July 10th to receive a free t-shirt. Sponsorship opportunities available. Bragging rights and an awesome trophy to the office with the most participants! Contact a member of the race committee for details.

FAQ
When can I run?
Run/walk any time from August 10 to August 17 at 11:59pm. Run’s must be uploaded by 11:59pm on August 17th.
When does online registration close?
Register by July 12 to receive a free race t-shirt. If you register after July 12 you may not receive a t-shirt. Online registration closes on August 9, 2023 at 11:59 PM.
Can I donate without registering for the race?
Yes. Please contact a sub-committee member or WMLAR to donate.
May I transfer my bib number to someone else if I registered but can no longer participate?
No.
May I defer my 2023 registration to 2024?
Sorry no, we are not allowing race deferrals.
When and where is packet pick-up?
Tuesday, August 6th through Thursday, August 8th from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the WMLAR office - 12916 168th Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417 OR ATA National Title Holland- 324 120th Ave Suite 20, Holland, MI 49424 . Pick your location during registration. This cannot be changed after you register.
What are the age divisions?
There are no age group awards.
How is the event timed?
A week before the event you will be sent a link to download the Run Keeper App. You will log your time and miles there. You only need to download the Run Keeper App if you want your time to qualify for the final prizes!
Can I walk/run on a treadmill?
Unfortunately, the Run Keeper app tracks your mileage & time with GPS. So staying still on a treadmill will not work.
Are there awards for the races?
Yes. Awards will be given to individuals for first, second and third place winners with the fastest time using the Run Keeper App.
1st Place Individual Winner: $100 Gift Card and a medal
2nd Place Individual Winner: $50 Gift Card and a medal
3rd Place Individual Winner: $25 Gift card and a medal
A trophy and bragging rights for a year will go to the Real Estate office with the most registered participants. Trophy will be passed from year to year.
Will there be race day photos?
We encourage virtual runners to take photos of their run and upload them to the West Michigan Lakeshore Association of Realtors Facebook group, our photos page here and share on your social media. #RWCVirtual5K
