It's a race JUST for kids! This 1-mile race is perfect for young runner who love participating in events but aren't quite ready for a 5K. The course is a wide, dirt path that is visible to spectators. Runners do three laps, collect stickers along the way, and receive a finisher's prize!
If you have a little runner (ages 2-10) who like getting outside, dinosaurs, friends, and fun, join us for the 4th annual Dino-Rific Kids Fun Run! This event is held at the Dino Walk at the Royal Gorge Dinosaur Experience. Admission is included in your $8 race registration fee, and parents / guardians accompanying kids get in free. Registration also includes an opportunity to do the ropes course! There's a smaller one for little kids, and big kids can cozy up to a T-Rex on the giant ropes course - staffed by the professionals at the Dinosaur Experience.
Kids will run past animatronic dinosaurs in the famed Wild Walk. Three laps equals one full mile, but little runners are also welcome to do less. There are two start times (8:00 am and 9:00 am) to accommodate naps and schedules, so sign up for the one that works for you!
