My Story…
My grandson Jack was born with tetralogy of fallot, which is a combination of four congenital heart defects that affect infants and children. The defects occur together and change the way blood flows through the heart and lungs.
Heart Beats Children’s Society is an organization providing families with information, resources, financial assistance and emotional support since 1987.
Jack is now almost 9 years old. This June, I will be joining him, along with other family members, in Heart Beats 15th Annual Family Fun Run and Walk. This event raises funds that will provide much needed financial assistance for families with children affected by congenital heart defects.
