Help us raise money

We are running in the Heart Beat's Run on behalf of the the Emmy Strong Initiative which was inspired by and created in memory of Emmy Valentina Carter who lived her life to the fullest everyday. She overcame 4 major heart surgeries and many other medical challenges during her 8.5 months of life before passing away suddenly. Half of her life was spent at the Alberta Children’s Hospital and the other half was at the Stollery Children’s Hospital. Emmy was and always will be a heart warrior full of strength, courage, bravery and resiliency.  Heart Beats was instrumental in our lives, with the multiple trips back and forth between Calgary and Edmonton, and then as well with the grief support since Emmy's passing.
