In 2021, Gabe and I experienced the heartbreaking loss of our son, Callum, who was stillborn. Losing him was overwhelming, and the grief that followed was unlike anything we could have prepared for. It’s hard to put into words the depth of that pain—knowing we would never get to see him grow, hear his laugh, or watch him experience life. But even amidst that grief, Callum's presence in our lives has been profound. He has touched us in ways we never expected, and his memory inspires us daily.

Though the loss of Callum will always be a part of our story, we’ve found ways to honor his life and move forward with hope. The Butterfly Run gives us an opportunity to channel our love for him into something positive, while also supporting other families who have experienced similar heartbreak. By raising awareness and funds, we can help ensure that others have the support and resources they need during such difficult times.

Participating in the run each year is a way for us to honour Callum’s memory and ensure that his short life continues to make an impact. Thank you for being a part of our journey and remembering Callum with us.
