Please join us on Sunday August 25th for the 46th annual Calgary Women's Run in Edworthy Park - 5km or 10km! All registrants will receive a swag bag including a SILIPINT Cup, Lakeview Bakery finish line treats, a Village Ice Cream and so much more!
Join 300 women and girls for one of Canada's oldest women's running races along the Bow River in Calgary, Alberta. Completely volunteer-led, this amazing race donates all proceeds to local charities, while encouraging community, health, wellness and athletic excellence.
All proceeds from the race go to the Urban Society for Aboriginal Youth (USAY). USAY is an Indigenous-led organization that supports urban Indigenous youth ages 12 to 29 years that live in the City of Calgary.
Our aim is to tackle ‘period poverty’ in the City by providing ‘Moon Time Kits’. Each kit contains menstrual, hygiene and comfort items to support those who menstruate but are experiencing financial constraints. The kits focus on wellness, health and hygiene, by providing pads, tampons, wipes, deodorant, soothing tea and other items. Donations from the Calgary Women’s Run go toward purchasing items for the kits, and USAY’s Indigenous young women assemble them and distribute to those who need them, including those that are houseless or at-risk of houselessness.
MENSTRATION PRODUCT DONATIONS: There will again be a donation bin for menstrual products on race day. Please bring products to donate to help build the Moon Time Kits and support our fight to tackle period poverty in Calgary. What helps you get through your time of the month? Bring it! …Unless it’s ice cream… the donation bin will not be refrigerated 😉

Fee Notes and Cancellation Policy
1. Online registration will close at 11:59pm (MST) on Wednesday, August 21, 2024
2. Calgary Road Runners Members receive a $5.00 discount on their registration. Use code CRR2024. To become a member click HERE.
3. An online processing fee will be applied to your online registration into this event.
4. All funds payable in Canadian Dollars.
5. VISA, MC, Amex, and Discover Card accepted.
6. Your credit card statement will show a charge from Race Roster or Fast North Corp for your online registration into this event.
7. If registering for a Mother-Daughter or Sisterhood category, all runners must register in the same race distance.

Team (Mother/Daughter and Sisterhood) category times are averaged based on each team member’s average time.
The following awards will be recognized online and in our post-event wrap up email:
- Top Age Group finisher 5km: 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
- Top Age Group finisher 10km: 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
All participants will also receive a swag bag at race package pick up. Great draw prizes will also be given out throughout the event and during the awards ceremony which starts at 10:30am.
