105.3 WDAS, Power 99, and Rumba 106.1 present the 7th Annual Sista Strut 3K Breast Cancer Walk, returning to Xfinity Live! Philadelphia on Saturday, June 22, 2024!

WHEN: Saturday, June 22, 2024

TIME: Rally starts at 8am, with the walk beginning at 10am

WHERE: XFinity Live! Philadelphia, 1100 Pattison Avenue in Philadelphia, PA

WHY WE STRUT

Did you know that African American women have a 41% higher death rate from breast cancer than white women and are more likely to be diagnosed before age 40? Among Hispanic women, breast cancer will be the leading cause of cancer death (16%), followed by cancers of the lung (13%) and colorectum (9%). That needs to change! Get involved with the Sista Strut and make a difference!

The goal of Sista Strut is to heighten awareness about the issues of breast cancer in women of color, as well as provide information on community resources. Sista Strut recognizes the strength of survivors, their family and friends, heightens awareness, promotes early detection and the search for a cure.

A portion of the proceeds to benefit the American Association for Cancer Research

REGISTRATION FEES

The registration fees for Sista Strut are:

1. $20 per individual through 5/31/2024
2. $25 per individual through 6/20/2024

Registration Fee this year includes Sista Strut T-shirt. Please note that shirts will be issued in relation to your requested size. While we will do our best to accommodate everyone with the size that fits best, we must try to go by your requested size to try and ensure that everyone receives what they requested.

If you are choosing to pay via Money Order, the above registration fees and dates still stand. You will be able to bring your money order to one of our pick up opportunities to receive your tshirt. Please note that we will not be able to release your shirt to you or someone else you designate until we receive your money order. Please be sure that all money orders are made out to iHeartMedia Philadelphia.

TSHIRT PICKUP

T-Shirt Pick Up Opportunities:

This is also a great opportunity for you to pay if you opted for the Pay Later option – please be sure to make all money orders out to iHeartMedia Philadelphia. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cash or credit cards with the Pay Later option.

Here are the three opportunities:

• Monday, June 17, 2024: 11am-6pm
• Tuesday, June 18, 2024: 12pm-6pm
• Thursday, June 20, 2024: 11am-7pm

Location: inside of iHeartMedia Philadelphia Office – 2 Bala Plaza, Suite PL50, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004. For GPS, you can also use the address 333 City Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004. Our new location is right next to Saks Fifth Avenue – please enter the building through the 2 Bala Plaza awning and our suite will be on your right.

Please note that we are unable to mail shirts – they will need to be picked up either during one of the dates/times listed above, or on the morning of the event.

You may pick up for multiple people BUT please have a printed or digital copy of the confirmation of who you are picking up for so there is no confusion. Please note if you are planning to pick up for someone that chose the Pay Later option, we will not be able to release their shirt until payment is received.

Shirts sizes are *requested* we will try our best to fulfill all requests, but due to increased registration, we have had to estimate some sizes to get shirts in time.
