Miles for Migraine, in collaboration with the U.S. Pain Foundation and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), has developed a one-day in-person experiential and educational program. This event will provide information while easing the isolation of children with chronic migraine and pain while educating parents.
Program Elements
The program will provide an opportunity to meet other children and families who live with migraine and pain in an environment of support and understanding.
The program will address such topics as:
*Why do headaches occur
*What treatment options are available
*Non-medication treatments
*Mind-Body techniques
Suitable for ages 12+ with a parent/caretaker. Snacks and lunch will be provided. $10 registration fee will be reimbursed at event registration.
