Run or Walk - Come Join Our Flock!
Sunday Oct 20, 2024
Celebrate Fall in beautiful Bronte Creek Provincial Park. Runners and walkers can challenge the flat and fast trail in the morning and then stay for a relaxing day in the park. This year’s event features medals for runners, hot pancakes and a family scavenger hunt.
Running & Walking Events:
- 5K & 10K - Chip-timed runs
- 1K Fun Run - Families and children
- 5K Walk - Dogs welcomed!
This year's Turkey Trot Run will help support the Wema Centre in Mombasa, Kenya. The Wema Centre transforms the lives of street-connected children. Since 1993, over 10,000 children have been helped by its programs that provide education, nutrition, health, shelter, psychosocial services and family re-unification.
Our goal is to raise $15,000 through pledges to help fund high school education for 20 children that cannot afford the essentials required to go to local high school (i.e. books, school uniforms, shoes, food). Please consider making a donation through registration, or supporting a runner (or team).
