The work that WEMA is doing in Mombasa has moved me so much that to kick off 2025 my family and I will be visiting the centre, learning from the incredible staff and children and volunteering our time. 

For over 30 years, the Wema Centre, an NGO based in Bamburi, Mombasa, has been dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and reintegration of street and needy community children. Their comprehensive services include residential care, healthcare, psychosocial support, educational and vocational training, and outreach programs.
