SWEAT VS STEAM
Sweat vs Steam is a unique and iconic running event held on the mighty Murray River and
runs through the historic Port of Echuca.
Participants try to beat the oldest operating wooden hulled paddle steamer in the world to the finish line!

Saturday 5 October
3:00-5:00PM: Registration and race bib collection from Hopwood Gardens, Echuca.
5:00PM: Online entries close NO on the day entries available.
Sunday 6th October
8:00AM: 10km race start. From start/finish line
8:10AM: (approx): 2km Junior River Run start. Just down from the finish line.
8:25AM (approx): 5km race start. Just down from finish line.
9:15AM (approx): KIDS DASH race start.
All events will chase the paddle steamer to the finish line!
9:30AM (approx): Presentations. Hopwood Gardens.
10:30AM: Event concludes
Overall 10km Male & Female: 1st $150.00 | 2nd $100.00 | 3rd $75.00.
Overall 5km Male & Female: 1st $100.00 | 2nd $75.00 | 3rd $50.00.
Male and Female runners recognised in categories Junior, Secondary, Open, Masters, Veterans and Legends in the 5km and 10km, and 6-8yrs, 9-10yrs & 11-12yrs in the 2km River Run.
