PIONEERS Run Crew 7-Year Anniversary

Join us as we celebrate PIONEERS Run Crew's 7th Birthday!

Born in May 2017, PRC was created with intention, joy, and passion to make running more accessible and equitable for BIPOC communities in Boston and beyond. Since day one our mission has been to EXPLORE our neighborhoods and our bodies, MOTIVATE our community members to become the best versions of themselves, and INSPIRE running culture and the next generation of runners.

These goals have always been at the forefront of what we do. However, this past year has stressed the importance of this work and this mission more than ever. We are excited to come together as a community to reflect on the year that has been, celebrate our community, and look towards the future. We can't wait for you to join us!

We have two ways to celebrate on Saturday, June 1st.

#1 - 10k and Half Marathon Race: 8am at Carson Beach

Come run with us (or hop in the cheer zone) as we take over the JFK/Castle Island Loop for an unsanctioned 10k and Half Marathon Race designed and created by the legendary Coach B. Don't let the word "race" intimidate you - runners of all paces and experiences are invited to race! Unofficial times, water stations, snacks, and a finishers medal will be provided for all runners. (LIMITED SPOTS!)

#2 - Anniversary After Vibes: 12pm at Ronan Park

After the run head home, freshen up, and then meet us at Ronan Park for celebratory after vibes PRC style. We have SO much to celebrate and will have epic ways to highlight PRC all afternoon that you won't want to miss! Whether you've run with PRC once or 100 times and whether you last ran with us on Wednesday or back in 2017, know that we would LOVE to have you come through!
