My Story…
This year I'll be participating in the 15th Annual Pink Pumpkin Run on October 26, 2024 in Guntersville, Alabama! As most of you know, this cause is very near and dear to my heart. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 50 and unfortunately lost her battle with breast cancer in 2007. Since then, I have decided to run in her memory. I am asking all of my friends to donate so that other women will be able to receive mammograms at little or no cost. Early detection is key. The proceeds from this event benefit the Mammography Assistance Program at Marshall Medical Centers, where local women who cannot afford a yearly mammogram are offered potentially life-saving assistance.
