Our story…
We are called to love our neighbor. This means showing grace, acting with compassion and looking out for the well-being of anyone needing help. We hope to accomplish this through raising awareness & contributions with the 2024 GOCA Teal Trot.
There is no current early screening test for ovarian cancer & many women exhibit symptoms as much as 1 to 2 years before they are diagnosed. 2 years is a lot of time to go undetected! Helping others become aware is an act of love. Please join us to love as He calls us to love.
* The team name is from C.S. Lewis' book "The Chronicles of Narnia". "Courage Dear Heart" were the words that gave hope to Lucy who was facing an immense challenge. Even though Pam faced her own challenges, she shared those words as she loved her neighbor by offering hope & encouragement to others facing difficult situations in life.
