2024 Pacing for Preemies 5K

We are thrilled to announce the 2024 Pacing for Preemies 5K. Grab your running/walking shoes and help us celebrate, honor and remember all the tiny warriors.

Participants are encouraged to raise funds and awareness to support the critically ill babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) that we serve by creating a team and a personalized fundraising page. The babies need you!


The Mothers' Milk Bank of Mississippi screens donor mothers, then collects, pasteurizes, and dispenses human donor milk to Mississippi's Neonatal Intensive Care Units.
The Mothers' Milk Bank of Mississippi is a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization.
All proceeds from The Milk Run 5K will directly support our mission.

Event Details

Run and walk - will start and finish at the Flowood Nature Park.
The route will run east on the jogging path along Flowood Drive to the entrance of Bella Ridge neighborhood, then back to Flowood Nature Park along the same path.

Timing by SISU Race Timing.

Registration fee for 5K runners and walkers includes:
-One T-shirt (for those who register by August 30th deadline) & swag bag
-Refreshments after the race

Online registration is available until 11:00pm on September 25th

Prizes:
-Overall male and female
-Top three male and female runners in each age category and overall
-Top 3 male and female walkers overall
-$100 VISA gift card for runner or walker who collects the most money in pledges! (Over $150)
-Award for largest team

Packets/swag bags may be picked up on Friday, September 27th, from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the milk bank office at 2001 Airport Road, Suite 204, Flowood.
Race day check-in and walk-up registration will be from 7:00-7:45am on September 28th
