BURRALOW BUSH RUN | HAWKESBURY NSW
The newest addition to the Running Wild roster, the Burralow Bush Run is a collaboration with the Hawkesbury Trail Runners. It is the only trail running event in the Hawkesbury, located in the foothills of the mountains, north west of Sydney. Starting and finishing at the event hub at Bilpin Fruit Bowl, the Burralow Bush Run showcases the beautiful trails in and around Kurrajong Heights, Bilpin and Bowen Mountain and offers two distances. All finishers receive a participant medal.
Short Course - The Devil's Dash | 16km
The Devil’s Dash traverses the Devils Wilderness throughout national park land for 16kms.
A fantastic distance for runners new to trail running or those keen to hit a PB with a respectable 200m elevation gain on accessible fire trail with gorgeous views across the Grose Valley. This course starts at 8:15am and has a 3.5-hour cut-off.

Long Course - Billy to BoMo | 34km
The Billy to BoMo is a 34km route with several out-and-backs that will test your quads and mental strength! With 800m elevation gain, runners will set out on the fire trails down to Burralow Campground, before tackling the hills up to Kurrajong Heights, out and back to Bowen Mountain’s Crago Observatory, before back to the finish line at the Fruit Bowl. This course starts at 8:00am and has a 6-hour cut-off.

Kids Course | 1.5km
As part of the Burralow Bush Run, we're excited to introduce a kids event that will take young runners on a 1.5km cross country course! Kids of any age are welcome to sign-up - from toddlers to teens - but note that children 6 years of age and under are required to run with an adult. As an homage to the original trail running event in the Hawkesbury (the Willy to Billy then the Bilpin Bush Run) the Burralow Bush Run is a non-profit event, with all funds raised going to the 3 local RFS brigades shared between Bilpin, Kurrajong Heights and Grose Vale Brigades...
