Help Laurie raise money

For participating in Comox Bike Co. YANA Ride

My Story…

I ride with a team called “Da Wheel Women”, started back in 2019 when a group of local women riders got out to raise money for YANA. We’ve ridden every year since then, even in 2020 when Covid shut down the one day group ride we rode on our own. Now in our third year back riding as a group we are planning a 20+ group ride the day of YANA . We have raised close to 15,000 (a loose guess-timate) over the 5 years we have b een riding! I have been a cyclist and bike rider all my life it seems. My first 2 wheeler was aniridescent blue CCM with tassels and all. I had a series of 10 speeds and then a custom touring bike to go cycle touring with my spouse in our 50’s, and now in my later 60’s I’m also on an ebike. Any way you can ride, we can do it! Please support me and my team members by donating to our fundraising page. I have  signed up to do a Distance challenge, to cycle 200 km by August 18th, the formal day of the Yana ride. So far I did a 16 km on August 1st and am hoping to get a lot closer to that 200 km number within the week.
