We are 14 women ranging in ages from 13 to 71. Â Our team will cover all 5 suggested YANA challenges:
200 km
3 mountain bike trailsÂ
400 minutes
Ride in all communities (Courtney, Comox, Cumberland, Denman, Hornby)
Create your own - ours are social rides to coffee shops & Â pubs
Together, we’re Wheeling Stronger Every DayÂ
Description
Every dollar raised in the community goes to help provide financial support and accommodation to Comox Valley families who need to travel to access medical care for a child or pregnant mother.
$50 = 1 night stay at a YANA apartment in Vancouver near BC Children’s Hospital
$100 = 4 night stay at Jeneece Place, Victoria
$200 = YANA envelope of cash for family’s emergency hospital transfer
$500 = 3 nights Nanaimo hotel accommodation
$1350 = 1 month medical travel expense funding
