How Do I Register?

Can I register on the day?
Yes, you can use the event entry registration available here right up until race start. However, please note, this is a cash free event.
How much does it cost?

Members of ANSW can receive a discount should they enter via the ANSW member entry available here
How old do I need to be enter?
For the Sydney Half you need to be 16 years of age and for the 10km event you need to be 12 year old. There is no age restriction for the Family Fun Run however, any athlete 8 years old or under needs to run with another paying adult.
Can I have my race bib posted?
Yes, if you register by midnight, Sunday July 28th you will have the option to have your bib posted with an additional cost of $6.00.
Anyone who registers on or after Monday 29th July will be able to collect their bib between 10am-4pm on Saturday 2nd September at Sydney Olympic Park
Can I transfer my entry to another person or obtain a refund?
You can transfer your entry to another person or to another distance. This is done automatically through Race Roster, our registration system. If you have an entry, log in to Race Roster and hit the transfer button and follow the instructions.
Refunds will be processed in line with our refund policy available here.
I can’t find myself on the participant list.
There are two lists that you could find your name on:
1. If you are a member with Athletics NSW and registered as a member, please review the list here.
2. If you are not a member with Athletics NSW and registered through the Race Roster page, please review the list found here
Event Information
Where is the Course? Is it accurate
The course runs through many of the landmarks of Sydney Olympic Park. Starting on Dawn Fraser Avenue runs through Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre, around the Accor Stadium and finishing on the Athletics Track.
It is fast and flat and perfect for participants of all standards to run that elusive PB.
The course is AIMS certified. A fancy way of saying it is 100% accurate.

Is there a drink station?
Yes, there are two water stations on the course. Please view the course map to see the locations
There is no water station for the Family Fun Run.
Water and fruit will be available at the finish line
Pre-Race
I had my bib posted however it hasn't arrived?
Bibs should arrive by the Monday before race day. Please contact Athletics NSW if it has not arrived.
Where can I collect my bib?
You will be able to collect your bib on the Saturday (10am-6pm) prior to event day, or on race morning (from 5:30am).
Bib collection will be located at the Main Athletics Track in the MGT room.
We encourage all participants to collect their bib prior to race morning, otherwise they may experience delays which may impact their experience at the race.
Can someone else collect my bib?
Yes, they can, they will just need your confirmation receipt.
What happens if I lose my bib?
You will need to report to the bib collection area during the designated opening times and our staff will be able to assist you.
Race Morning
What time should I arrive?
In general, if you have already registered and received your race pack (you have your race number and timing chip), you should arrive at the race venue no later than 30 minutes prior to your race start time.
If you still need to collect your race bib or register, you should arrive no later than 1 hour prior to your race start time.
How do I get there Is there a parking area?
You can park in one of the Sydney Olympic Park parking stations. We strongly suggest you park in P2 (aquatic centre) and walk to the start which is at Accor Stadium (corner of Edwin Flack and Dawn Fraser). For more information on parking, please click here

Is there a bag drop?
There will be NO designated bag drop area available.
Post-Race
Where do I find my results and collect my medal?
Race Results will be published on the web live. A link will be provided shortly.
You can collect your finisher's medal after the event concludes shortly after crossing the finishing line.
