Help Jackie raise money

While I reside in Chesley, due to health care cuts, our local hospital has been experiencing Emergency hours reductions since 2019.   In December of 2020 my father who had past heart issues, felt symptoms of a heart attack and drove himself to Chesley Hospital (1 minutes drive).  He arrived at 8:02 pm to find the doors were locked at 8pm.  He drove down the street to my home and said he was having a heart attack.   I raced him home to get his Aspirin and Nitroglycerin and headed to Walkerton Hospital.  Here, during the peak of Covid, he received excellent care waiting to be transferred to London, spending the Christmas Holidays in Covid lockdown.  I will be forever grateful for the level of care he received there.  

I now work in Walkerton as Branch Manager of Meridian Credit Union, and a key part of our Meridian for Good strategy is giving back to our communities.  To give back, our branch is a 2024 Bronze Sponsor, and some teammates and I are participating in and raising funds for the Walkerton Hospital Foundation.    Sadly, my Dad passed away in 2022, He was always very charitable and believe in giving back, so I am doing this in his memory.
