Cousins with a Cause

Remi is a 8 year old girl who was born at 30 weeks and spent 7 weeks in the nicu. She was diagnosed at the age of 2 with Cerebal Palsey. Remi is currently still working alongside the IWK rehab team & neurology department.

Axell is a 3 month old boy born at 36 weeks with a condition known as gastroschisis. He was born with his stomach, bladder, liver, appendix, small and large intestines on the outside of his abdomen. He spent 40 days in the nicu and is still working alongside the IWK surgical team.

Remi and Axell are cousins who, without the IWK, wouldn't be with us today. Our family would like to give back to the IWK for their outstanding & ongoing medical support.
