Rachel's Gift is a non-profit near and dear to the heart of the Feken family. They were extremely helpful in being supportive and helpful to us following the death of our daughter, Marlee, on Christmas Day in 2022. Marlee was stillborn at nearly 38 weeks gestation after a seemingly normal and healthy pregnancy. Rachels' Gift does so much for the pregnancy and infant loss community. They provide free support groups and resources to loss parents, families and their friends, they provide training to healthcare workers nationwide for how to provide the best compassionate care for pregnancy and infant loss patients and so much more! When I was in the hospital I received a box from Rachel's Gift with little gifts and trinkets for memorial's sake. It also had resources that were extremely helpful to my entire family and even friends. The hospital staff at Chesapeake Regional took phenomenal care of me, above and beyond type care that is like unheard of, during the hardest days of my life and I have Rachel's Gift to thank for encouraging that experience. I ask that you kindly consider donating to Rachel's Gift in memory of our precious daughter, Marlee. So that they can continue to help other families and friends, like ours!
