Our Board of Directors, staff and management team, as well as the individuals/families we serve and support are so thankful for your kindness! We provide a wide array of programs designed to allow those living with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their best lives.  We are so encouraged by the advancements that have been made since our chapter began in 1959 and so thankful for community champions, large and small, who have helped us to make dreams a reality! We are ArcStrong!

The Arc of Bristol County has been providing family supports since its inception in 1959. Our mission is foster community partnerships, promote individual advocacy and create a pathway for growth and innovation by offering exceptional support and services to people with all abilities through the attraction, development and retention of superior talent who passionately demonstrate best practices. As our founding families envisioned, we are a diversified organization committed to supporting over 2,600 individuals and families throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Services include: Adult Family Care, Adult Day Health Center, Acquired Brain Injury services, Autism Now Center, Community Directions, Day Habilitation Program, Educational Advocacy, Employment Services, Family Support Services, Guardianship Services, Individual and Residential Supports, Information and Referral, Shared Living, Social Recreation, Representative Payee, and Trust Management.

For the past twenty-five years, our agency has been providing informal and formal family support services through the Department of Developmental Services; specifically in the Taunton/Attleboro, Fall River, and New Bedford areas. We recognize that each individual and family is unique, and we use our collective 250 years of expertise towards meeting complex, varied needs. We do this by having forged strong connections with local communities (e.g, school districts, other local nonprofits, and community businesses). Our staff have varied degrees in human services, social work and psychology. We draw from collective wisdom and individual experiences towards providing customized service delivery.
