Come kick off the 2024 Independence Day with a 5K Fun Run.
The Mexico Beach Sandy Shoes 5K Fun Run is a great way to enjoy the outdoors and get you prepared for a great 4th of July. All ages are invited to participate in this family, fun race. A very easy course that will allow any stage of runner to enjoy. Runners will start and end at the same location with water stations along the road to route runners through the course. This is a non-chipped, non-official timed race. All runners will be responsible for capturing his/her own time.
Race will start at 7:00am on July 4, 2024 at Under the Palms Park (corner of Seventh Street & Maryland Blvd.) Race packet pick up: Wednesday July 3rd 10:00 AM till 5:00 PM. El Governor Beach Resort 1701 Hwy 98. All times listed are Central.

Thank you for participating in the 2024 Mexico Beach Sandy Shoes 5K Fun Run. Please be advised that this race is a non-chipped, non-official timed race. All runners will be responsible for capturing his/her own time. A race clock will be provided, displayed, and visible to all runners as they cross the finish line. Participants will start and finish at the same location. Race will start at 7:00am, July 4, at Under the Palms Park (corner of Seventh Street and Maryland Blvd.). This event is open to runners, walkers, joggers, strollers and 4-legged family members. All pets must remain on a leash during the event. Race Packet Pickup: Wednesday, July 3rd- 10:00am till 5:00pm, El Governor Beach Resort, 1701 Hwy 98, Mexico Beach. Thursday, July 4th- Race Location, Under the Palms Park, 6:00am till 6:45am.
