HOKA High Camp Challenge
This FREE experience is the perfect event for WS100 crew members, family supporters, or the local trail community looking for their next event.
Friday June 28th, the HOKA High Camp Challenge will take you from the official start line of the Western States 100 through the first climb of the historic race course, ending at High Camp. After completing the climb, runners are invited to enjoy food and drink at High Camp before making the run/hike back to the bottom or taking the aerial tram down for free, weather permitting. The official route will be sent out and posted prior to the event due to ever-developing weather and snow patterns on the mountain.
Be one of the first 200 to sign up and claim a limited-edition HOKA High Camp Challenge pint glass by selecting the product and donating $20 USD at checkout. 100% of all proceeds will go directly to The Western States Foundation as they continually work to better our trails and serve the community. This item is available in limited quantities and while supplies last, so don't wait to register!
All registrants will receive their own commemorative HOKA High Camp Challenge bib to wear during the run; however, this event will not be officially timed or scored. We encourage all to enjoy the experience, mountain, and community in their own way!
Prior to the HOKA High Camp Challenge, we will host the annual HOKA 100.2m Dash for kids 12 and under to experience their first ever 100(m). Starting at the official start line of the Western States 100, kids will see how fast they can climb the first 100.2m of the WSER course. All kids can decorate and color their own bib before the race.
