Granterio L. Short “I Am Proof Fitness Day”

Granterio L. Short was a beloved son, brother, friend, and a well-respected Navy veteran and an outstanding father. Granterio possessed skills like no other. He had the ability to engage community members, encourage others to reach their highest potential all while still committing to the duty of protecting our honored country. Granterio's legacy is non-ordinary. He leaves behind a family, classmates, and a community that wishes to remember him and his notable accomplishments.

Granterio L. Short ‘’I Am Proof Fitness Day’’ will be held on the 27th day of July 2024. The project will be held in Hazlehurst, MS. at the city pavilion. We are aiming to focus the entire event around fitness and building health awareness. We will begin the day with a 5k and will continue the day with community members socializing and acquainting themselves with healthcare professionals. This project will be in remembrance of Granterio and all his well-doings.
