Great Lakes to Greenbelt Farm Fresh RidesFeaturing two new routes in the Hamilton area
September 28/29 – Ride Day One, Day Two or join us for the whole weekend
Day One SOLD OUT - 28 September – 48km – the Hambur Loop Enjoy the best of the Hamilton stretch of the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail and the Greenbelt Cycling Route with this fully signed cycling tour. The route will start and end at Collective Arts Brewing in Hamilton. Join us to enjoy the fresh bounty of Hamilton trail riding with rest stops featuring local fruit and craft breweries.
- Day one ride starts and finishes at Collective Arts Brewing at 207 Burlington Street in Hamilton.
- Registration opens at 8:30 and ride starts at 9am
- Enjoy riding the Hambur loop and discovering a different, more peaceful side of Hamilton.
- Most of the route is off road and follows a combination of the Escarpment Rail Trail, the Red Hill Valley Trail and the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail. Sectons of the Red Hill Valley Trail are gravel and could be washed out - mountain, hybrid or gravel bikes are recommended. Alternative routing to avoid Red Hill Valley trail provided for road cyclists.
- The route requires walking down the staircase at York Boulevard and using the bike trough - this will not be suitable for trikes/recumbents.
- Registration rate for Day One - $35 + HST + processing fee
Day Two - 29 September - 43km/20km loop - Rural on the Ridge Join us on this brand new flat route which has been developed in conjunction with the Hamilton Halton Brant Tourism organization. This route celebrates the rural businesses and heritage attractions at the top of the escarpment and features incredible lakefront vistas. Celebrate your achievements and the bounty of the Fall with rest stops featuring fresh local produce.
- Day two ride starts and finishes at Ridge Road Estate Winery, 1205 Ridge Road, Stoney Creek, ON L8J 2X5
- Registration opens at 8:30 am and ride starts at 9:30am
- Short 20K ride option available featuring Ridge Road and the Dofasco Trail - gravel and some sections of boardwalk - gravel/hybrid bikes recommended for the 20km ride
- 43km route is flat and follows paved country roads. Suitable for all bikes.
- This is apple country; enjoy rest stops featuring local apple cider and fruit.
- Registration rate for Day Two- $35 + HST + processing fee
Join us for both days and make a weekend of it.

Helmets mandatory for both dates. No helmet no ride.

Both the 43Km and 20km route starts and finishes at Ridge Road Winery.
