The new Collingwood WinterRun event consists of 5000m track events for everyone – suburban runners, recreational runners, run crews, club runners and more.
Our first Collingwood Run Series - WinterRun - is all about 5000m running.

Event Schedule & Heat Seed Times
1pm Check-in / on-the-day entry opens
2:00pm Suburban 5000m heat 1 sub-17min
2:40pm Suburban 5000m heat 2 17:00-20:00min
3:20pm Suburban 5000m heat 3 20:00-25:00min
4:00pm Suburban 5000m heat 4 25:00min+
Heats are seeded as fastest to slowest.
Heat seed times are a guide - we can switch runners into the heat you want.
Heat Seeding
We won't be pre-seeding heats...here's how it works for WinterRun:
- Heats #1-4 will each be designated a time range - see above.
- When you arrive tell us which heat you want to run in - you can arrange with your friends to run together.
- We will try to balance numbers between heats (heat #4 only if needed).

Lap Counting
This is up to you!!
We will count the laps of the leader in each heat on a board, and ring the bell as they start their last lap.
Timing & Results
Each runner will have a unique race number.
When you finish you will get a place token.
Your race number & place token details will be recorded and matched to your time.
Results will be published immediately after each heat here:
